Getting here

Public transport or car? Here’s the best way to get here to Brent Cross.

By Tube

Whether you’re a first-time visitor to Brent Cross or an old hand, here’s something you may not know: the nearest Tube station to Brent Cross shopping centre is…Hendon Central.

Confused?  Well, let’s just say that Brent Cross as an area was here long before the shopping centre was built and it has kept its name. You can certainly get to the shops from Brent Cross Tube (simply take one of the regular buses or follow the signs; it's a 10-minute walk) but it’s quicker and easier from Hendon Central.

Simply exit Hendon Central and cross the A41 Hendon Way at the lights. Turn left by the HSBC Bank and continue walking south down the main road for a couple of minutes. You’ll soon see a footpath on your right, which brings you out near Topsy Turvy World. Cross over and take the walkway through the multi-storey car park and you’ll soon find yourself in Mall 5 inside Brent Cross, with over 120 stores waiting for you! By Rail

For those shoppers who don’t live near a Tube there is an alternative – mainline rail – which serves north London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and runs via central London all the way down to Brighton.  Hendon mainline station is 12-15 minutes’ walk away. Simply exit the station onto the main road, cross over and turn left. After a few minutes, you’ll find Vivien Avenue on your right. Walk all the way down Vivien Avenue until it reaches the lights at Hendon Central. Turn right by the HSBC Bank and follow the instructions above for Tube travellers.

By Bus

There’s an even better way to get to Brent Cross by public transport – one that drops you right outside the main doors to the Centre.  Go by bus. Brent Cross has the largest bus station in Barnet, served by 13 routes from all over north and central London and south Hertfordshire, so there should be one that’s convenient for you. Choose from routes: 102, 112, 113, 142, 143, 182, 186, 189, 210, 232, 266, 326 and C11.

By Car

Brent Cross is situated close to several major trunk routes including the M1, A41 Hendon Way, A5 Edgware Road and A406 North Circular Road. It is easily reached from the M25. Brent Cross offers up to 8,000 FREE parking spaces.

By Taxi

Taxis are available throughout the day at the front of the Centre by the bus station. They can be contacted by phone on 020 8203 5470.
